What you will find here is my NOT Top 10 Film of the Year who is about to end because I'm not so arrogant as to believe that I saw all the worthwhile films of 2010 (I might run into a Thai masterpiece that blows away half of the titles below!) I have also opted for films easy to find and I have launched a list of films dedicated to obscure and inaccessible, threatening to make the mistake of many lists that I stumbled upon recently (intellectually-snobbish stuff that I have not even going to mention the authors!).

10-PROPHET because I love movies of prisons but here the descent of the jail hard for a guy who has to "learn" to be respected only occupies a Part of the work. Hand-held camera used well, a lead actor unknown but amazing and a pace that keeps ... recuperatelo despite the length, because it's powerful film in the right place ...
09-CITY 'WILL' Crazies just a remake of horror because it rarely keeps its promises (see the last "Nightmare " to believe). Here is preserved the essence of the work of Romero , there are a couple of sequences very well done (the car wash?) And the film made amends in which the error fall for all aspiring rivals of the old George, or the postponement of the political overtones and metaphors more or less explicit aim of his work for only sull'orrorifico standard!
08-THE TOWN because Ben Affleck is starting to be forgiven by me for the most serious faults of the past. Here, then, do you understand to be the usual mutt as an actor and then surrounds himself with people very valid (Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm all), runs very good action sequences and uses the genre films to tell a story which, Noir, it only uses the cliché to help address the most challenging.

07-HAPPY FAMILY because even if the play that inspired the screenplay is better and does not exploit all the potential good idea, a film is "abnormal" in our cinema and therefore must be safeguarded. Salvatores decorated with bows sgargiantissima a photo with songs by Simon & Garfunkel , runs good atmosphere that reeks of Wes Anderson from a mile away and provides a role in De Luigi light years away from his comic grimace now strategic use.
06-SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD that takes a little-known graphic novels-Canadian and the port on the screen for almost cartoon sticker, mixing visual art with video games and quoting nerd. Edgar Wright is one of the directors who have treated me more (see "Shaun of the Dead " "Hot Fuzz " or the TV series "Spaced ") and succeeds in here to give a fresh comic approach to the subject, filling the frame of ideas about ideas. The finish is a bit subdued and skepticism towards the choice of starring Michael Cera may be there (although not for me) but otherwise is joyful visual roller coaster! Ah, there's also Anna Kendrick! !!!!! And the songs are Beck .....
05-The First Thing because Virzi, usually carognesco in his films, here creates perhaps the most unpredictable in his creatures. Livorno amarcord tender without the fury to the " Ovosodo " but very very nice and sincere. Everything works, from the script to the cast (where a very effective stand Sandrelli FINALLY, that plays a Mastandrea subtraction throughout the film and Minogue who courted by the objective of the husband, does not miss a pose). 04-KICK-ASS c he finally makes justice to the work of the comic writer Scottish mental patient by the name of Mark Millar ("Wanted " was nice but too diluted by those who knew comics). You can do the superhero in the real world? No, because if you try only risks end up in hospital! But if, thanks to Youtube & MySpace becomes a myth and imitators will soon start generating a lot to come out of a supervillain ... By a director who does not miss a shot (" The Pusher" and "Stardust ," two films that you need to recover) comes a non-trivial reflection on the prevailing fashion of superheroes, well supported by an excellent cast (even Nicolas Cage, here, works great!) and a final sequence of the more memorable for the fact that differs greatly from that of the comic and, to some extent, it comes out even better! When it comes out in Italian cinemas, in February (one year after the U.S., congratulations) go out ...
03-TOY STORY 3 and I tell you to do it? Each year, the title ends up in Pixar, but my advice is inevitable. This, then, is a Chapter Three delicious, well-kept with the usual script, perfect rhythm, quotes a bunch but never invasive or too ostentatious (true, Dreamworks ?) And, above all, the end of the most tender and convincing ... As usual for Pixar, is Epic Win.
02-The Social Network because it could be a trendy crap (does anyone remember the "Feisbum" our?) And instead go to award to a director like Fincher (also amazing here) and as a writer Sorkin (OSCAR , NOW !!!!!). The result is a movie where people speak more than two hours without causing yawns in the audience (and if I think of the evil I had digested the delay in "Benjamin Button " I realize that if Fincher is served well when writing NOT is genetically capable of boring!) and where the skill of the actors, the technical expertise, the splendid structure of the screenplay (which is "modeled" the dynamics of their communications via Facebook in recounting the evolution of the story) make this film a model to be studied carefully.
01-INCEPTION and, yes, I know that some people storcerà the nose, but honestly, I just set because this is the kind of movie I love to see the movies! Intricate screenplay to perfection (just follow the plot carefully and you will not lose anything, in spite of the spectators distracted and moaning), suitable and well-used actors, beautiful cinematography, editing precise to the millimeter (especially in the Third Act), a Directed accompanying the viewer but you take the trouble to "distract" in the right places to do him some Details of the note that, having reached the Final by surprise ... Nolan is a director from whom I expect a lot and now I have NEVER disappointed. Gordon-Levitt and his furious fight between the walls of a hotel in perpetual circular motion is the topic of the 2010 film my scene ...
